- Take a boat ride
Inside the marina, enjoy a superb experience while navigating into the canals: a pleasant 30 minute or 20 minute ride is possible by boat without a license to enjoy your visit in PORT GRIMAUD over the water …
No need a boat license, for a reasonable price between 6 € and 25 euros / person up to 50 € by the sea, you can enjoy a nice perspective on the beautiful lake city.
Access to the service of “bateaux verts” between early April and end of October, or the rental of electric boats, or water coaches is possible from mid-February and until mid-November. Also note that there are preferential rates for groups.
Furthermore, the electric boats and the water coaches are ecological: this type of navigation respects the environment and its users. The visit of the lake city is regulated by the maritime law.
- Visit the ecumenical church
The unique church of Port Grimaud “St. Francis of Assisi”, is an interesting discovery cause of her inter-religious character. An ecumenical vocation brings together Catholic worship and Protestant worship.
The artist Győző Vásárhelyi, known as Victor Vasarely, a Hungarian artist recognized as the father of optical art has made stained and color glasses inside the ecumenical church depicting the cycle of the sun: from dawn to dusk.
- Climb to the top of the tower to admire the view
The visit of the church requires going to the top and access to the terrace: for the modest sum of 1 € you can enjoy an overview of Port Grimaud. Climb to the top of the tower, you will have a magnificent and panoramic view of the bay of Saint-Tropez and its surroundings.
- Eat Provençal market specialties on Thursdays and Sundays
Some come for the sun, others the sea and others love Provence and its southern flavors … You will find everything you need at the market of Port Grimaud for a real traditional meal of the region with its local products.
- Go to St-Tropez by sea shuttle … and especially come back 😉

- Walk along the beach to the harbor entrance dike
Browse the beach edge between public and private access Grimaud and Port Grimaud, depending on the activity chosen: coffee lounge, deckchair, sea sport or relaxation on the sand. After a trip to the beach, you will come back to the entrance of the lakeside city by way of the dike.
- Play a game of petanque on the market square
After lunch or dinner, treat yourself to a friendly and typically Provencal moment of relaxation in the main square of the market … Considered as the 11th national sport, it is a real famous hobby in our region of southern France.
- Getting lost in the alleys
Take the full advantage of a pedestrian route in the Port Grimaud enclosure. Between PG1 at the main entrance not far from the “Prairies de la Mer” and PG Sud at the other end, you will criss-cross the main streets, squares and little islands of Port Grimaud to reach your real estate agency …
